WHAT THIS IS. Every monument recorded at Udaipur on the Archaeological Survey of India's register of Monuments of National Importance or the Government of Rajasthan's register of State Protected Monuments. THE PLACE NAME IS THE REGISTER'S. These lists group monuments by the location string each register records, which is the town or village as the register writes it. Spellings vary between registers and a monument recorded under a nearby settlement's name will sit on that settlement's list rather than this one. Complete against the registers as recorded, which is a narrower claim than complete against the place. ORDER. Alphabetical. Not a ranking. WHY SOME TOWNS HAVE NO PAGE. A list of one entry is not a list; a place with fewer than 2 recorded monuments does not get one, and its monuments appear on the district list instead.
