One method, shared by every one of the 33 lists below.

WHAT THIS IS. Every panchayat samiti — the block-level tier of panchayati raj, between the zila parishad above it and the gram panchayats below — in the district. Complete as against its source, not a selection. SOURCE AND ITS STANDARD, WHICH IS THE STRICT ONE. eGramSwaraj, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj's own application, reporting its own register of panchayati raj institutions. This is a primary source in the strict sense — the body that holds the fact publishing the fact — and it is the same shape as an exchange filing. Claims resting on it meet this site's original sourcing standard, not the relaxed one introduced by amendment 2, so they carry no "aggregated source" marker: nothing here is aggregated. Most registers on this site are transcribed from an encyclopaedia because no reachable government copy exists; this one is not. EVERY ROW CARRIES THE MINISTRY'S OWN KEY. Each samiti's Local Body Code — the national identifier the Local Government Directory assigns it — is recorded on its page. That is what makes an entry here checkable against the register years from now, after a name changes or a link dies, and it is why the count below can be reconciled rather than merely asserted. THE COUNT RECONCILES, AND THAT IS CHECKED ON EVERY RUN. The register states 361 panchayat samitis in Rajasthan, both as a grand total and as a per-district count, and 361 rows were extracted with 361 distinct Local Body Codes. The extractor fails rather than publishes if any district's parsed count differs from the count that district's own row states. The same figure is reached independently by the Local Government Directory's bulk extract published on data.gov.in, which is a different publication route for the same registry. ORDER. Alphabetical within the district. This is not a ranking: panchayat samitis are not ordered by population, area, number of gram panchayats or anything else, and no such ordering is published here because the source supports none. DISTRICT MAP — THE PANCHAYATI RAJ MAP, WHICH IS THE PRE-2023 ONE AND IS CURRENT. 33 districts, not the 50 of the administrative map. This is not stale data: a panchayat samiti belongs to a zila parishad, and the zila parishads were not reorganised when Rajasthan redrew its administrative districts in 2023. So this register is on the same map as the two monument registers on this site, and deliberately not on the map the assembly-constituency and tehsil registers use. Each list on this site names the map it belongs to rather than quietly reconciling with the others. A LIST OF ONE ENTRY IS NOT A LIST. A cut with fewer than 2 samitis is not published. Every one of the 33 districts holds at least five, so nothing was dropped by that rule here. WHAT IS ASSERTED PER ENTRY. That a panchayat samiti of this name, carrying this Local Body Code, sits under this district's zila parishad. Nothing about its population, area, gram panchayats or officeholders is claimed, because the source supports none of it.
